Our Founder
Captain Marc Tacher, the founder and CEO of Patriot Waves Marine, brings over 15 years of extensive on-the-water experience and a rich maritime heritage to the helm of the company. A 200GRT USCG licensed Master, Marc's journey began in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he was introduced to the boating world at the tender age of two. Inspired by his father, who imparted invaluable knowledge and a deep passion for the sea, Marc honed his skills and developed a profound understanding of maritime operations.
Before embarking on his professional maritime career, Marc served as a Military Police officer in the US Army, where he cultivated discipline and leadership qualities that have significantly contributed to his success as a Captain. His career includes the command of vessels across diverse and challenging waters, from the turquoise expanses of the Caribbean to the vast, freshwater greats of the Great Lakes.
Marc's exceptional expertise and commitment to excellence laid the foundation for Patriot Waves Marine, where he continues to share his passion for yachting and dedication to superior service with clients throughout South Florida.
